Network
A network is a collection of computers, servers, mainframes, network devices, peripherals, or other devices connected to one another to allow the sharing of data. Network devices including switches and routers use a variety of protocols and algorithms to exchange information and to transport data to its intended endpoint.
Competencies and experience
- Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, traffic shaping, QoS, DPI, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IPVPN, MPLS, FR or ATM.
- LAN and Wireless network security and intrusion prevention.
- Cisco and Kerio management experience, FortiGate, F5 BigIP.
- Application gateways, Azure Application Proxy, UAG, TMG, ISA.
